The following are considered Multiple Family Dwellings (MFDs) and eligible for residential single-use products, packaging and paper products (PPP) recycling collection under the regulation:
- Buildings, or parts portions of a building complex with multiple separate residential units, such as an apartment or condominium, that DO NOT receive PPP recycling collection from their municipality.
- Single-family dwellings that are part of a Residents Association (RA) or Homeowners Association (HOA) and DO NOT receive PPP recycling collection provided by their municipality.
- Townhome complexes, row housing, or trailer parks that DO NOT receive PPP recycling collection provided by their municipality.
Institutions and visitor accommodations are not considered MFD under the regulation and thus are not eligible for PPP recycling services through Circular Materials (CM). These properties should not register. Property owners or managers of eligible MFDs in Alberta who wish to receive curbside recycling services must register using the form below. If your building already receives PPP recycling collection through a municipal residential program, do not register.
